Christian Howes' Creative Strings Workshop

Christian Howes' Creative Strings Workshop is an intimate and realistic learning experience for any aspiring string player. This year's camp will be held June 30 - July 6 at Otterbein College in Columbus, Ohio.

Through clinics, community outreach performances, one-on-one coaching, gigs at popular clubs, and public and private jam sessions, participants immerse themselves in an intense week of experimentation and experience with nearly every genre of improvisation-based music.

The workshop's high level of energy and musicianship is fueled by its world class faculty as well as its passionate, accomplished, and supportive participants.

In addition to Christian Howes, instructors will include: cellist Dana Leong, violinist Rob Thomas, arranger/pianist Bert Ligon, pianist/composer Daniel Kelly, bassist Chris Berg, and drummer Cedrick Easton -- plus Billy Contreras, Alex Hargreaves, and more! Also joining is a seasoned battery of rhythm section players and bandleaders for professional accompaniment.
